For the Winter Term 2011/2012 a restricted admission to the BSc programme Applied Biology will be implemented. This means that only a limited number of students will be accepted to enrol into the programme.
In which way is the programme limited?
In order to guarantee that everybody can join all the scheduled courses according to the curricular schedule, we have to limit the number of first year students to be accepted to 130.
Who will be chosen?
Applicants apply for a study place via online application. Depending on the number of applicants and the places offered a selection will be necessary, based on the university entrance criteria, which are usually the final high school grades. The best applicants will get the permission to enrol first, hence, the better your final school grades are, the higher the your chances to be accepted will be.
My grade is not that good... Should I apply?
Because some of the accepted applicants might not enrol, we may accept applicants with lower grades in consecutive selection rounds. We therefore encourage you to apply, even if you don’t have the best grades.
When does the deadline end?
Closing date for the applications will be July 15th, 2011. Make sure that all documents were sent to the university until this time!
